Interview in French subtitled in English
Patrick Dacquay devoted the first period of his life to building a family and experimenting with the business world. For 45 years, he was initiated into multiple spiritual and therapeutic practices. He meets initiators and shamans from 5 continents. With them, he rediscovers Ancestral Wisdoms and awakens his memory of Celtic Shaman. Patrick perpetuates a line of Celtic healers. His DEO initiatory name is SOOF - TA, which means: "he who knows and eats the earth". (DEO is the phonetic transcription of the Celtic word DERV. It means oak or being of the forest which defines Celtic "shamans"). As Deo, he follows the tradition of solitary druids. By drawing on its own Breton roots and taking as support the archaic wisdom preserved by traditional people, he participates in the reconnections to Mother Earth and Father Sky that the ancients knew how to honor. He practices shamanism in its most authentic aspect and devotes his life to initiation. The way used is that of the three Celtic shields: force, love and conscience - of the three initiatory circles: Visible (Abred), invisible (Keugan) and white (Gwenved) worlds.
He is the bearer of the Celtic lineage of Soof-Ta, Customary Chief of the “Circle of Wisdom of the Union of Ancestral Traditions” and representative of the Celtic Tradition at the “Universal Council of Ancestral Wisdoms”.
